I started cutting during my teenage years, practicing basic hair cuts, fading and lining my own hair while I also cut my friends, cousins and uncles hair at times. Professionally I’ve been cutting hair for a year now. I enjoy watching people smile and feel good about themselves after a fresh haircut. It’s a lifestyle that I am firmly accustomed to with no regret.

My name is Alaia (uh-lie-uh), and I am a Cedar Rapids, Iowa–based hairstylist specializing in custom color services. I’m passionate about creating personalized looks that enhance each client’s unique style and confidence.
In addition to color services, I also offer barber style cuts as I continue to expand my skill set through mentorship and collaboration with experienced professionals. Ongoing education is important to me, allowing me to consistently deliver quality results while growing and evolving as a stylist.

Hi, my name is Skylar! I am a licensed stylist who graduated from Capri College in October 2025 and have been proudly doing hair at Prestige Cuts since November. I offer a full range of services, from cutting to color, with a special passion for highlights and creating soft, dimensional looks. I love helping my clients feel confident, refreshed, and truly in love with their hair. My goal is to create personalized, elevated styles while educating clients on how to care for and maintain their hair at home, so it looks beautiful long after they leave my chair!
